BBP Autumn Quiz - October 30thGill Hood is arranging an Autumn Quiz night for BBP members, friends and anyone else interested (pictured is a recent similar BBP/BITA quiz night!). This Autumn's quiz will take place on Thursday October 30th at the RAF Club, Carlton Lodge, 38 Eastfield, Westbury on Trym, BS9 4BE. Bristol Junior Chamber of Commerce visit to BordeauxAs mentioned in previous newsletters we're very pleased to say that Connor Jones and other members of Bristol's Junior Chamber of Commerce will be visiting Bordeaux next month to build strong links between the commercial sides of our two cities via meetings at City Hall (Marie) and with their sister commerce organisation in Bordeaux. Equally exciting is the planned visit to Bordeaux in 2026 of the The Bristol Guild of Guardians, hopefully accompanied the Lord Mayor. We'll share news of these great opportunities to develop lasting commercial links between Bristol an Bordeaux as they happen. |
Members events - wine tastingIan Abrahams will be hosting another wine tasting evening for BBP members (and friends/guests) on Friday November 28th (18.30 for a 19.00 start) at a cost of £25 per ticket to cover both the wine and accompanying food Further details of the event will follow soon but if, in the meantime, you want to know more please contact Gill on gannahd1@outlook.com. |
Members events - Paris visitAs mentioned in previous newsletters a small group of BBP members will be visiting the recently restored Notre Dame in Paris in October, with some members travelling on to Bordeaux afterwards. We will share how the visit went in our next newsletter. If any of you have other great ideas for BBP members events, please let us know. We're always looking for more ways to promote and reward membership. |

Le Cercle francais de France programme - want to improve your FrenchMaybe for your next visit to France - or even Bordeaux - you may want to improve/ameliorer your French. le cercle francais de Bristol, an affiliate of Alliance Francaise, have a programme of events over this autumn, Winter and next Spring. Lots of opportunities to pop along and practice your French with like minded 'Francophiles'. If you're interested have a look at this link here
